Our Trip to Vegas and then a day later off to Lake Powell!!!!!

Off to Las Vegas for a fun trip with Morgan's family!!! I got a shot of a bunch of the boys eating in the airport before we boarded the plane!

Nixon's cousin's got to sit at the front of the plane and he got to hang out with them and play a little before we took off. We sat right behind them and Grandma and Grandpa Smith and all Nixon's Aunts and Uncles were sitting all around us too so it was really fun!

We stayed at Mandalay Bay and Morgan's dad got us a cabana at the pool, which was such a nice respite from the heat, and the pools were so much fun!!!

I thought it was cute to see Morgan just relaxing for a minute in the fun cabana! We also got to go to an awesome Circe de Soliel show, Ka that night, I just love those shows!!! It was so nice of Nixon's Grandma Bonnie to watch him so we could go!

We got to go see the Lance Burton magic show and we also went to Serendipity's and had a frozen hot chocolate,which was really delicous I want another one right now!

Well, then a day after we got back from Vegas we went to Lake Powell- crazy, but fun:) Here we are watching the kids cliff dive!!!

Then we all boarded together!!!!!!!!! It was so cute and Nixon just love loved it!!!! He was so cute and kept saying, " I'm surfboarding, I'm surfboarding!!!" It was just adorable! And Morgan held him so strong and did a great job despite my worries:)

Oh, what a cute site!!!! Nixon and his sweet Grandpa Steve, they're just best buds and Steve is such a fun Grandpa to all his grandkids! Thanks again for the nice trip, we loved it!

OK, this was one of Nixon's favorite things to do, his cousin Sterling built sand pits and Nixon just loved playing in them and it was so cute to see his cute little head peaking out of the ditches!!!

Pictures of our Deseret News 10k Race!!!!!!!

Yeah, we did it! The surroundings were beautiful, we were up around the University of Utah and the Temple. Our race started at 6am so we left for it when the sun came up, my favorite time of the day! It was a nice, cool morning, and great for the run. Here we are at the finish line with Nixon, Morgan's dad Steve was so great to watch Nixon and take him to see us race, it was so much fun to see them cheering us on!!!!!! :):)

I'm just glad we did it and we felt really good after because we actually trained well for this one:) and we placed pretty well too:)

Summer Cabin Trip In Sundance And Our 4th of July Fun!

So we had such a good time at the Cook's cabin in Sundance and loved the location, so close to everything! Our favorite part was that it was right over the river so you'd just hear it rushing outside at night:):) We hiked Stewart Falls, one of our favorite hikes and Nixon's first time and he just LOVED it!!!

Oh my gosh! This picture just says it all!!!Nixon LOVED the hike and kept saying, "We're going on a ADVENTUUUURE"!!!!!!!!!! He loved the falls and I almost stepped on a little snake on our way up and he was so excited, he also saw a bunch of sqirrels and played all around the river and just had a blast!!!

Here's the cute Zurcher's: Dallas, Jessica, and baby Lucy! It was fun staying in the cabin with you guys and all the fun couples! Thanks again Ty and Rachel, we had such a great weekend!

Nixon's first time roasting marshmellows, he was having so much fun and it was just awesome to see him enjoying the outdoors so much and we can't wait to take him camping sometime!!!

YEAH!!! FOURTH OF JULY FUN!!!! We went up to Brighton Ski Resort for the big breakfast and parade with our good friends the Bramhall's and their twin newborn's and Nixon's best friend Taylor, here they are enjoying the breakfast!

Part of the parade, Nixon loved the firetruck and all the people coming in neat cars and giving treats out to the kids!

Then we went on the little lake hike they have and it was a perfect day for a hike! Here's Morgan with Nixon and Taylor on our way to the hike, they were just running like crazy and so excited!
The hike was really pretty and it was just so nice to be up there!

Then that night we went to see fireworks with the Bramhall's:Tracie, Dave, Taylor, twins: Drew and Lana, so cute!!!!!

We had such a nice night and it was so fun watching Nixon enjoying all the Fourth of July Fun!!!!

Pictures From Our Park City Anniversary Get Away!!!

Oh, it was just so pretty, the sun just set and we had a nice dinner and walked around and got icecream and just had a fun date!!! Then breakfast in the morning on mainstreet, we ate outside at one of our favorite places for buckwheat blueberry pancakes,scrambled eggs, and Morgan had his favorite hot chocolate and strawberry belgium waffles!!! Thanks to Bonnie and Steve for watching Nixon so we could have a fun get away!!!!
