Making More Memories At Laguna Beach and Nixon's 1st time to Disneyland!!!!!

Special beach time at Laguna where I grew up going- with the family, we sure love this place!
                                                       

And our ocean adventures begin, this little guy just LOVES the beach and plays so cute!!!
Daddy and Nixon playing, running, and smelling the salty air!

Nixon and I were having so much fun chasing the seagulls! We'd go really slow and then when they'd fly away we'd run really fast! He loves animals and just had such a fun time waching and trying to play with the "white birds"!!!
Morgan and Nixon, such fun beach buddies, Nixon is lucky to have a daddy who loves playing so much with him and never gets tired! They can play for hours and hours out there and just love it!

My mom was so cute with Nixon building sandcastles, definitely one of his favorite things to do!

My mom took us all to California Adventure and then off to Disneyland, we didn't want to leave! Nixon loved the "Soaring" ride and it was so fun to go on it with him and all the family!!!

Yeah!!! Nixon meets Goofy, he was so happy to meet him and it was so cute!

After meeting Goofy all the boys just had to be like him:)!!! Here we are with my sister Molly and her husband Dre, we sure miss you guys!

Nothing tugs at my heart more than seeing OUR little GOOFY so happy!!!

We all just had to dress for Disneyland:)My mom bought us all Disney hats-it was so funny!!!

So fun to be at Disneyland with my mom, so many childhood memories there and now we get to make new special memories with Nixon!!! It was so nice! Thanks mom we sure had a good time! We got Nixon this little Mickey hat with his name embroidered on it, so cute like I had as a kid!

Nixon really loved this bug guy from a bug's life so we got our picture with him:)

One of our favorite things in Hawaii was the Dole Pineapple icecream(I couldn't stop talking about how I wish they had it here:) and they had it at Disneyland, Nixon and I were in Heaven!!!!

Fun to see the castle, we told Nixon that's where Mickey Mouse lives, he was so excited!!!

Nixon and Daddy on the Buz Light Year Ride, they were having so much fun!!!

Morgan and Nixon were shooting away and it was so cute how Nixon got so into it!!!

Nixon was just so excited to meet Mickey!!! I'm so glad we found him!!!

I seriously felt like I was going to tackle that Mickey Mouse to the ground after how hard it was to pin him down for a picture!!!

Our good friends Chantel and Mike and their cute kids Jet and Jayda (who live in Cali now) met us at Disneyland, it was just so much fun to see them!!

Nixon and Jayda were just so cute together and had a blast!!!


My mom (Gigi), Nixon, and cute Jayda on the small world ride, it was so cute to see how much Nixon loved it! I just could cry at how precious he was on that ride and all the sweet little characters and the fun little boat ride, it was just so adorable!!!

Nixon was so adorable pointing at everything and getting so excited, I didn't want the ride to end! I had so fun seeing him having so much fun!!!

Our Disney Day ends:( We all didn't want to go home, we love that place!
Like the old dental school days, hanging with some of our best friends Chantel and Mike Skidmore!!! We sure miss you guys!!!

Another day at the beach!!! Our last day to have fun in the sun!!! My mom, Me, Molly, our good friend Brie, and her sweet little baby Tate!

So fun getting to hang with my sis, Molly at Laguna, we have so many memories as little kids together at this beach! I sure miss you Lee Lee!

Nixon and Ava go to Disney On Ice

My cute friend Haley and her daughter Ava invited Nixon and I to go to Disney On Ice! Nixon and Ava just love eachother, it's so adorable!

Nixon did not want to take his eyes off the rink as picture above shows and would not let us get a picture:)He really didn't want to leave and kept saying, "No mom it's not over!"
The picture below is the sweetest thing ever, Nixon and Ava are so precious together and I'm so glad they're such good little friends!!!Now we just need to catch up and have another one like cute little Noah, Ava's baby brother!

We loved "The Lion King" so much, it was really good and Nixon and I love the music!!! He always says, "I like the scary cats in Lion King Mom"



The "Cars" part was fun too, we need to buy that movie!

Nixon's First Time Skiing Today!!!!!

What a natural!!!

Daddy sure is a good teacher, Nixon was doing pizza's and fries all day very well and he didn't want to quit!!!

Look at that little ski guy go!!!! Good job Nixon!!! We sure love you and we're so happy you love doing fun things and being in the beautiful outdoors,we're so lucky!!!

Christmas Fun 2010

So finally updating the blog!!! Here is some Christmas fun!!!
Some friends of ours had an "Ugly Sweater Party" and here's our beautiful bunch!

The Women! So much festive fun!!!

The Men, wow just so stylish!!!!

Christmas party in the neighborhood and Nixon gets to see Santa and Mrs. Claus!
He's a lot more into the candy cane then Santa though:)Our sweaters were a hit here too!!!!! :):):)

Christmas cuties,Daddy and Nixon! Nixon got a balloon car from the balloon artist they had there, he was way more excited to wait in line and see him then he was for Santa!!!

Notice the squint thing Nixon now does everytime we say SMILE, it's so cute!!!

Our HAWAII Trip!!!!! Then Cali! Then Halloween!!!!!!!

Here we are at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Luau, what a fun night- Morgan won a pineapple at the pineapple toss and it was so good!!!

Surf's Up!!! Morgan was in heaven getting to surf as soon as the sun came up everyday!


I took a crack at it too, it's been a while, but the waves seemed tougher than last time or I guess I'm just getting older:):)


My favorite thing was to sit on our balcony outside and just look at the amazing view!

After snorkeling, oh it was so much fun, we got to swim with two sea turtles and so many beautiful tropical fish!!!

Here we are at the original Duke's restaurant celebrating my birthday, what a fun night I loved the shrimp pasta and especially the chocolate macadamia nut pie for desert, the food is fabulous and Morgan and his dad were so cute and bought me and his mom a plumeria flower lay that smelled so sweet and beautiful!!!!

We went to church at the same tabernacle building where Morgan's great grandpa was a mission president and where his Grandma and Grandpa were married! It was so neat his Grandpa was converted by his Grandma and so they were married there and later sealed in the temple!!!

Going to Pearl Harbor! Wow, what an experience, I'm so glad we did it! I sure gained such a deeprer appreciation for what happened in our history!!! Morgan's Great Grandpa was serving as a mission president in Hawaii right there when Pearl Harbor hit!

This is the Memorial for all the soldiers who were killed! It was so incredible also to see the ship under water!!

We took a tour on the U.S.S. Missouri, wow what an amazing ship!

Oh I just want to go back right now, this is right in front of our hotel!

They had penguins right on our hotel grounds and parrots too, it felt so tropical and jungle like, I loved it!

There were flamingo's right in front of the hotel lobby too!

Our last night! It was so nice, we ate at a restaurant on the beach and they had a firework show that night at our hotel with really good Hawaiian dancers!

Well after Hawaii I spent a week with Nixon in California, it was great! Here is
Molly and I basically in her back yard (the beach, she's so lucky) it was so nice and peaceful being there. Nixon had so much fun in the sand we couldn't get him to come take a picture with us!:):)

We had so much fun at Molly's pool! Nixon loved playing with his Uncle Dre so much! He's always asking to go play at Molly and Dre's house!

Thanks Mom and Molly!! We sure had so much fun at both of your homes and thank you so much for your sweet and special care of Nixon while we were in Hawaii!!!

Trick Or Treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Halloween Fun!

So it was fun being Daphne, Shaggie, and our cute little Scooby Doo!!!!

We had such a good time at the neighborhood Halloween party. Here we are with Lily, Nixon's cute little piglet friend! They had hay rides, pony rides, sugar cookies to decorate, and Nixon's favorite thing was the pumpkin painting! He did such a good job and painted such a cool pumpkin!
