Nixon's 1st trip to the Thayne Cabin in Silvergate, Montana!!!!!!

So our family has been going to the cabin(outside of Yellowstone) since I was one year old and my dad has been there since he was a little boy too. So it was special this year to take Nixon when he was one year old to continue the tradition!!! We had such a good time and we even bought Nixon a little stuffed bear cub since I still have the one I got when I first went to the cabin!!! We went on lots of hikes and did alot of animal watching in the park! It was fun for Nixon to hang with Grandma and Grandpa Thayne! It was also so fun to have my stepsister Leanne and her husband Georges and their little son Simon(only two months younger than Nixon)
come to the cabin for the first time! George is from Haiti and it was so neat to see Yellowstone through his eyes, he's never seen live buffalo or moose before and it was so exciting to see it with him and Leanne who hadn't been there either!!! I just wish we would've seen a bear this year(its like the only year I haven't seen one). We did hear there was a grizzley who broke into a cabin across the meadow from ours. Many years they've been really close to our cabin and one year a little black bear got into our car!!!! Anyway it was such a nice trip and we're always sad to leave, thanks Dad and Tami we love ya!
